Reprocessing insulation
The Mil-tek IC60 is a compactor for insulation. Mineral wool and stone wool, which are typically used to insulate buildings and residences, are shredded and compacted. Through a large opening, used insulation can be inserted into the machine from the top.
A large screw conveyor compacts the material into a fine powder, eliminating stratified memory and permitting dense compaction. The IC60 is designed to fit within a standard transportation container and has several built-in safety features, including safety sensors and particle filters to remove glass dust.
The IC60 can compress more than 500kg of mineral wool per hour, and the compressed material can be loaded directly into a flexible bulk sack (big bag) for transport convenience. The mineral fleece can be recycled directly, without additional processing.
