All of the raw materials supplied to Taghleef come in HDPE plastic packaging. For this reason, they have large quanitites of excess packaging and bags to dispose of.
The Results
Mil-tek supplied a Model 205 bale press, which was installed inside the production area where the plastic waste was being generated.
The working area is now cleaner, the time and energy used moving packaging has been reduced, and staff time is saved by baling the waste at source.
The baled plastic is sold to a local recycler who is paying the highest market rate, due to the high quality of the plastic and the density of the bales.
